Rainbow Village, Taiwan

Rainbow Village ( Rainbow military housing ) also known as Caihongjuan Village, is a settlement for military dependents with colorfully painted lanes and houses. The bold red colored paintings of portraits, animals and texts are the works of Huang Yong-pu who began to paint simply because he was bored. The childlike graffiti has turned this small walled village into a scenic spot in Tai Chung city, Taiwan.
